Don’t forget the expectant mother. She will need help with the stress of a new baby. She’ll make good use of a spa gift certificate. High thread count bedsheets will make the most of the small amount of sleep she’ll get. A box of relaxing caffeine free tea or flavored coffee will definitely bring a smile to her face. The mother-to-be needs to know that she has a few things that are just for her.

For example, for a sprinkle, which is a shower after the baby is born, fill small sprinkling cans with candy, silk flowers and a packet of seeds. As the host of the shower, create a binder for mom with all the responses to the joyous news along with addresses and phone numbers for thank you notes and keeping in touch.
